Chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee, Honourable Sunday Marshal Kaltung during an interface with the NBC leadership at the National Assembly, said that the agency should ensure that no part of the country is left behind in the digital broadcast revolution going on globally.
Addressing the committee, the Director-General of the NBC, Mr Ishaq Modibbo Kawu assured the lawmakers that there would be digital revolution in Nigeria at the completion of the switch over.
He explained that the digital switch over is being done in phases in major cities across the country.
The NBC boss also informed the lawmakers that Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, is fully digitalised and assure that other cities as Osogbo and Enugu will follow in a few weeks.
