The event, which was attended by established and prospective entrepreneurs, among other participants featured the fundamentals of digital marketing for SME’s, importance of digital optimization, analysis of current tools and trends to helping Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) in achieving adequate business growth and profitability in the digital age.

Speaking on the importance of the seminar, she added that the initiative was targeted at helping SMEs within the Nigerian economy to attain brand viability packed with reliable and useful statistics that proved how internet unraveled the benefits of the digital age, by bringing forth wider coverage, real time results, tracking, immediacy, geo-targeting, customization and affordability.

She further enlightened participants on how they could harness the potential benefits of this new “Digital Boom” without breaking the bank, adding that, “social media, among other digital optimisation tools, is an aspect of the overall concept of digital marketing.

She also charged participants on the need to adequately invest in online advertising which will, no doubt, enhance growth in business–either on search engine marketing, display advertising, social media marketing, or through Online PR, brand influencers, among other online techniques.
