Dickson declares support, as Alaibe returns to PDP

THE  governor of Bayelsa State, Hon Seriake Dickson, has said that the decision by Chief. Ndutimi Alaibe to dump the All Progressives Congress (APC), for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is a major boost for the party in the state.
Dickson stated this in the government house, Yenagoa, when Alaibe formerly declared his intention to return to PDP yesterday.
According to Dickson, the party would organise a mega receptorganises honour, sometime next week.
He said “we were pained when you and others left our party at a time we needed you most. But all that is now history, what is most important is what is ahead of us.
“I want to assure you that you are all valued leaders of our party. You would be integrated into our party from ward level to the top structure of the party.”
Speaking to newsmen afte the brief ceremony, Alaibe said the PDP is an Ijaw party and he is returning because he is an Ijaw man.
“I am coming back to the party because i am an Ijaw man who wants to support the development of our state.
“Dickson has done very well, so we have returned to ensure  that good work continues in Bayelsa State.” He said.
