Management of Diamond Bank Plc has informed it’s shareholders that it would be unable to release its 2016 audited financial statements by March 31, 2017 as required of us by NSE rules.
In a notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the Bank explained that the delay in the release was due to the stage of review of our accounts by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
“It is unlikely that this will be concluded in line for us to comply with the NSE and other regulatory rules guiding release of annual audited accounts.
“We have therefore sought the approval of the NSE and the Securities end Exchange Commission (SEC) for a delayed release. We are however Optimistic that the accounts will be made available on or before April 30, 2017,” the statement said.
