DG charges corps members to dignify NYSC uniforms

The Director General NYSC, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has changed Corps members to treat their uniforms with utmost dignity.

He gave the charge on Monday while interacting with members of NYSC Football team at the national headquarters of the Scheme.

The Director General said that the NYSC regalia is a symbol indicating that those wearing it are responsible youths who have passed through the highest citadels of learning from across the globe.

He therefore called on them to desist from defacing the uniform, reiterating that doing so is a contravention of the NYSC Bye-law, and will not be condoned.

Earlier, Brigadier General Ibrahim went round departments and interacted with members of staff, during which time he assessed their compliance with the directive to resume work immediately after Sallah break.

He used the occasion and reechoed his pledge to accord priority to welfare of staff and Corps members.
