Development initiative leads charge for African youth empowerment

The Prince7 Youth Development Initiative (P7YDI) is driving a movement to foster youth leadership and community empowerment across Africa.

PYYDI, with its growing network of ambassadors in countries such as Rwanda, Nigeria, and Kenya, is empowering the next generation to bring lasting positive change to their communities and the continent at large.

Speaking on the initiative’s core purpose, representative of P7YDI stated, “We believe the future of Africa is in the hands of its youth. Our role is to provide opportunities, mentorship, and resources that will equip young people with the tools they need to create meaningful and lasting change. By uniting these ambassadors across different countries, we’re building a strong foundation for a better tomorrow.”

The initiative, launched with a mission to develop young leaders who can take on the challenges of tomorrow, is making waves through its dedicated ambassadors, professionals who are not only thriving in their respective careers but are committed to mentoring others.

The programme’s reach and impact are steadily growing, driven by a shared vision of a brighter African future.

Blaise Pascal Niyibizi, a Rwanda agronomist and a key ambassador for P7YDI, has spearheaded efforts to improve community development. With over a decade of experience in outreach, Niyibizi is passionate about making a difference.

“My work with P7YDI gives me the chance to reach more people and amplify my impact. It’s not just about teaching leadership skills but about empowering young people to actively shape their communities,” he said.

Veteran Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Samuel Ajibola, is another example of the initiative’s impact. As the youth ambassador for the Youth Development Centre of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Ajibola uses his platform to advocate for education through the Samuel Ajibola Foundation. “Being part of this movement is something I take pride in. We are equipping young people with the knowledge and leadership skills they need to realize their dreams and secure Africa’s future,” he shared.

While in Kenya, Seraphine Okeyo Akoth, Miss Heritage Global Kenya (2021/2022) and P7YDI ambassador, leads the “Educate Africa” project. Her mission is to improve access to education across the continent. Akoth’s dedication to education has motivated many others to join the cause of building a better future for Africa’s youth.

P7YDI remains committed to providing resources for its ambassadors, fostering leadership, education, sports, and community development as the company continues to expand its influence across the continent. The initiative is shaping Africa’s future, one young leader at a time.
