The three Senatorial districts are Delta Central, Delta South and Delta North.
On one hand, as of the time of filing this report, the primary for the Chief Cyril Ogodo-led faction in Delta Central was holding at Ughelli Public Field. Mr Charles Olisa was announced as the Returning Officer while Mr Solomon Igbiaye is the Election Officer.
The two aspirants for Delta Central are APC leader, Chief O’tega Emerhor and the incumbent, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

On the other hand, the APC second faction led by Prophet Jones Erue is holdings its Delta Senatorial district primaries at a venue in Udu, near Warri.
The two expected aspirants to be voted for there, too, are Chief Emerhor and Senator Omo-Agege.
The primary for Delta South, where former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan is a major contestant, is holding at Oleh.
Uduaghan’s opponent at the Delta South primaries at Oleh is Ijaw-born Chief Michael Johnny.
It was not clear as of Tuesday whether the APC in Delta South was having a parallel primary as it is in Delta Central.
Accreditation of delegates had already begun peacefully as of 12:45 p.m at Ughelli amid security watch.
It will be recalled that on Monday in Asaba, Prof Pat Utomi and Chief Great Ogboru both emerged governorship candidates in parallel primaries held by the two factions of Chief Ogodo and Prophet Erue respectively.
