Despite poor govt funding, LAUTECH gets full accreditation for 24 courses

Published by

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to 24 of the 29 courses presented for accreditation by the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho.

Lecturers in the institution had recently embarked on a two week warning strike during which they protested on the streets of Osogbo, the Osun State capital, last Friday to protest alleged neglect of the university.

According to the Head of the Public and Alumni Relations Unit at the institution, Mr Lekan Fadeyi, while five other courses got partial accreditation, none of the courses examined by the NUC teams lost its accreditation.
