The newly appointed Comptroller of the Niger, Kogi Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Pascal Chibuoke, has warned smugglers and economic saboteurs to desist from their nefarious activities or face the consequences.

According to Chibuoke, “At this time of economic crisis, we will not tolerate smuggling and economic sabotage. I urge you to find legitimate businesses.
“I am here to enforce the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi directives on revenue generation and suppression of smuggling.”
He thereby called on officers and men to put more effort into consolidating the success of the Command, Nigeria Customs Service, and Nigeria in general .
On his part, the outgoing Comptroller expressed his appreciation to the leadership of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) for the opportunity to serve in the Command and urged the officers and men of the command to extend their support and cooperation to the new Comptroller.
