Delta@33: Delta HoS hails progress in all sectors

Delta State Head of Service, Reginald Bayoko has lauded the state’s exceptional progress across various sectors since its creation in 1991.

Attributing the success story to the collective efforts of its people and leadership, Bayoko paid tribute to the past leaders whose invaluable contributions laid the foundation for the state’s development.

He also recognised the dedication of public servants who, despite early challenges, such as working under trees and in classrooms due to limited infrastructure and remained steadfast in their service to the state.

In his message to commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the state on Tuesday, Bayoko congratulated the Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme, political, traditional and religious leaders, public servants, as well as the entire populace of Delta State.

He commended their unwavering commitment to maintaining peace, unity, and progress, which had been instrumental in the state’s impressive transformation over the past three decades.

“Today, Delta State stands as a testament to the resilience and determination of its people, with the progress made under successive governments being a source of pride. In contrast to 33 years ago ,Civil/Public servants now work in an ultra modern complex that houses up to 27 MDAs.

“The MORE agenda of Governor Oborevwori particularly highlighted the state’s achievements, showcasing its evolution and growth,” Bayoko said.

He urged civil and public servants to continue their exemplary service and support the government’s efforts in propelling Delta State to greater heights.

Bayoko expressed his best wishes for the people of the State, envisioning even greater achievements, unity, and prosperity in the years to come.
