Declare state of emergency on crime, terrorism, Chairman SKCL advises FG

The chairman of Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders, Apostle Emmanuel Kure, has advocated for the declaration of a state of emergency on crime and terrorism.

He made this known during the monthly winds of the spirit of the ministry in Kafanchan at the weekend.

Kure, who is also the vision pioneer of the Throneroom Trust Ministry Kafanchan in Kaduna State, also challenged President Bola Tinubu to issue a marching order to the military and other security agencies to immediately tame the activities of criminals who derive pleasure in killing innocent souls.

He advised the Federal Government to provide advanced weapons for the military to confront the criminals, whom he noted are using better and more advanced weapons to carry out their nefarious activities.

The Apostle also challenged state governors in the North Central States, including Kaduna, to consider creating a unifying security structure within the confines of the law, just like their counterparts in the South West, who established Amotekun to fight crimes and criminality in their region.

He lamented the slow start of President Bola Tinubu’s-led federal government in solving the immediate problems confronting the country, even after all legal battles have been concluded by the Supreme Court.

Kure warned that unless the government begins to be deliberate in solving the daunting challenges the masses are currently facing, especially the security of lives and property, God can decide to impose His own changes due to the daily cries that are bombarding the heavens.
