#Debate2024: Harris, Trump bicker over plans for abortion ban in US

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President, Donald Trump, on Tuesday, offered a sharp contrast in their approaches to abortion ban during the 2024 US Presidential debate.

The 90-minute debate was full of energy between both parties as they defended their interests and views.

Harris and Trump shared their different thoughts on the initial support of Joe Biden, the current president of the United States, over access to abortion in the US.

Donald Trump, the current front-runner in the Republican has touted his support for abortion restrictions while Harris in many ways has the most to prove in the debate over access to abortion, and also the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) processing in the US.

Harris affirms that “If Donald Trump were to be elected, he would sign a national abortion ban under his project and there would be monitoring on pregnancies and miscarriages”

She also established that “The government should not make freedom to make a decision about one’s body”

Donald Trump replied in his statement “There is no reason to sign a budget because we have gotten what everybody wanted. Democrats, Republicans and everybody else and ever. Every legal scholars wanted it to be brought back into the states and the states are voting.”
