#Debate2024: ‘Harris exceeded people’s expectations,’ Trump supporter, Elon Musk, admits

Elon Musk, owner of X and a staunch supporter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has acknowledged that Vice President Kamala Harris exceeded most people’s expectations during Wednesday’s presidential debate.

Tribune Online reports that the two presidential candidates for the upcoming U.S. election in November engaged in a heated debate in the early hours of Wednesday.

The debate’s aftermath has continued to spark varied reactions on social media, with many users sharing their views on who they believe emerged as the winner.

In his response to the debate on his X social media platform, Musk admitted that Harris’ performance surpassed many expectations.

Musk, while stating that the debate hosts were unfair to Trump, maintained that he still believes Trump would be a more effective president despite Harris’ good debate performance, adding that leadership requires more than simply sounding good.

He wrote, “While I don’t think the debate hosts were fair to @realDonaldTrump, @KamalaHarris exceeded most people’s expectations tonight.

That said, when it comes to getting things done, not just saying nice-sounding words, I strongly believe that Trump will do a far better job.

“After all, if Kamala can do great things, why hasn’t she? Biden rarely shows up for work, so she’s basically in charge already.

The question comes down to this: do you want current trends to continue for 4 more years or do you want change?”
