D’banj stages comeback!

Weeks after losing his son to the cold hands of death, Hip hop star, D’banj is staging a big comeback.

The mood in D’banj’s home, according to findings, has been pensive since the demise of their son, as the couple has reportedly shunned public outings and also stayed away events that could put them in public space.

With close friends of D’banj and family still consoling him, the singer appears ready to make a quick comeback to the scene.

Though Bangalee, as he’s fondly called is still mourning the sudden death of his son, who was said to have drowned in their swimming pool in their home while he was abroad, the news reaching R suggested that the singer is ready to shed the togger of bereavement.

D’banj would team up with other international acts such as Beyonce, JayZ, Cassper Novest and other African artistes like Femi Kuti, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid among others to stage Madela 100 global citizen festival in Johanesburg, South Africa, December.

In what looked like his first post on social media after the loss of his son, D’banj a few days back, shared the news of the concert on his Instagram account, saying he was headed to South Africa this December.

The fstival which aimed at ending extreme poverty in Africa and the rest of the world would also feature Eddie Vedder, Sho Madjozi, Pharrel Williams and Usher.

In his words, the Kokomaster said it is left to him and other hip hop stars from around the world to end extreme poverty ravaging Africa and the rest of the world.

“We are ready to use our voices and all that we have within us to end extreme poverty.”
