Dawda Unveils Debut Single “Wine” in Dubai

LPME Group, a trailblazing music studio based in Dubai, has announced the release of the debut single, “Wine,” by the exceptional singer, songwriter, and producer, Dawda.
With an unparalleled commitment to promoting diverse talents globally, LPME Group is poised to propel Dawda to the forefront of the African and Middle Eastern music scenes.
Dawda, an artist deeply connected to his African heritage, has already left an indelible mark on the Western music industry as a songwriter and producer.
Dawda, who has previously written songs for acclaimed artists such as Ashley Tisdale, Charice, Sean Kingston, Snoh Aalegra, Iyaz, Mohombi, Bayanni, Singah, and more, is set to release more singles in the coming months.
Having worked with some of the world’s leading icons in the music industry, he is geared to transfer his extensive expertise and knowledge to the African continent and give back to his people through his music and future projects.
“I’ve been writing and producing songs for artists from all over the world. When I decided to release my own music I wanted to make sure that I bring across how proud I am of my African heritage and how influential African music has been for me. I’m very excited to bridge my experience to contribute to and get creative with the music coming out of there”, Dawda said.
His innovative blend of Afrobeat, R&B, soul, and pop results in transcendent sonic experiences that captivate listeners.
Dawda’s musical influences are wide-ranging, from Gambian and Senegalese Mbalax to Nigerian Afrobeat, South African Amapiano, Hip Hop, and R&B.
This eclectic inspiration reflects in his debut single and sets the stage for future releases. In the creation of “Wine,” LPME Group collaborated with creatives from the region, including an up-and-coming UAE- based African designer, dancers, and creative directors.
These partnerships amplify Dawda’s cultural assets, adding a unique touch to his artistic expression.
The name “Wine” draws inspiration from the Jamaican dance “dutty wine,” where the term is used as a double entendre. In the context of the song, “Wine it slowly” serves as a metaphor, urging listeners not to rush into things too fast but to choose wisely.
As LPME Group expands its footprint in the music industry, the collaboration with Dawda marks the beginning of a promising journey, exemplifying the commitment to supporting and promoting diverse talents from around the world.
LPME Group, stands as a state-of-the-art studio facility equipped with cutting-edge technology. Boasting multiple producer rooms, a main stereo recording room, a vocal room, and Dolby Atmos studios, LPME Group is at the forefront of the music industry’s evolution.
