Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has lost one of his trusted aides, who is simply known as Obama.
While details of his death were still sketchy as of now, information gathered by Tribune Online indicated that Obama died in a Lagos hospital some hours ago where he had driven himself to for medical attention.
He was said to have complained to some people who were close to him that he was struggling to breathe well and was said to have driven himself to a hospital in Lekki, Lagos State but didn’t make it alive.
It was gathered that his condition grew worse at the hospital as doctors on duty battled to save his life before he finally died less than three hours after arriving at the hospital.
News of his death has thrown Davido and his crew into mourning as none of them could understand what could have led to the death of Obama, whom many claimed posted on social media, particularly Instagram about two hours before he died.
While Davido has not made any public comment about his death, popular celebrities including musicians and actors who are friends of the deceased have taken to social media platforms to share their condolences.
Obama was from Epe, Lagos State.
