Davido celebrates 27th birthday, set to unveil new album

Nigerian Afro-pop singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name ‘Davido’, on Thursday, celebrated his 27th birthday

The singer, who was born on November 21, 1992, to the family of Chief Deji and late Mrs Vero Adeleke, in Atlanta, Georgia, received greetings from fans and loved ones on social media.

Meanwhile, Davido has unveiled his cover art for his upcoming album ‘A GOOD TIME’ which will be officially out on November 22, 2019.

The anticipated album comprises seventeen tracks, including collaborations with Popcaan, Peruzzi, Zlatan, Naira Marley, WurlD, Summer Walker, Chris Brown, Gunna, Dremo,

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Yonda.Prominent music producers on the album include Shizzi, Kiddominant, Speroach Beatz, Tekno, and others.

The Risky crooner, while unveiling the cover art penned down an emotional story about his journey through life, recounted the sad story of how he lost his mom and other loved ones.

He also shared his joy about his fiancee, Chioma, his daughters, Imade and Hailey and his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

He said the year 2019 has definitely been on the biggest year for Davido career-wise and even on a personal level as the singer is set to release album few months after proposing to his girlfriend and welcoming his first son in the UK.

In 2017, Davido made history at ‘MTV EMA Awards 2017’ as the first African artist to win “Best Worldwide Act.”
