Davido, Adesua, IK make 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards list

Three Nigerian stars, Davido, Adesua Etomi-Wellington and IK Osakioduwa, have been nominated for the 2019 Nickelodeon kids’ Choice Awards scheduled for March 23, in Los Angeles, California, United States of America.

According to the list of nominees released by the organisers, Davido was nominated in the ‘Favourite Global Music Star’ category alongside American artistes J Balvin and Taylor Swift.

Other contenders for the category were Blackpink from Asia, David Guetta and HRVY from Europe.

Award-winning Actress, Etomi-Wellington and media personality, IK Osakioduwa were nominated in the ‘Favourite African Star’ category.

American DJ Khaled clinched nomination for favourite male artist and favourite collaboration for “No Brainer,” featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo and Chance the Rapper.

Other stars listed for major awards include: Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Camila Cabello, and Shawn Mendes.

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, now in its 32 edition, is an annual American children’s awards ceremony show produced by Nickelodeon, American cable channel for children.

The show honours the year’s biggest television, movie, and music acts as voted by viewers worldwide of Nickelodeon networks.

This year’s award ceremony, which will be hosted by DJ Khaled, is scheduled for March 23, at the Galen Centre.
