Anambra State Chapter of the People Democratic Party (PDP) has said they have no comment for now regarding the suspension of the acting National Chairman of the party, Umar Damagum, and the National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, for alleged disloyalty to the party.
The State Chairman of the party, Chigozie Igwe, who disclosed this in a telephone interview with the Nigerian Tribune in Awka on Saturday, said the party under his watch would not comment for now because they are no full details about the crisis at the national.
“Please, the press, we will comment after the next meeting of the national working committee of the party. As it stands now, we have no knowledge about what is happening at the national headquarters of the party, Abuja. We will react immediately after the next meeting of the NWC please,” the Chairman pleaded.
