“It is also important to note that the successes recorded in our revenue in the Commands could be attributed to good motivation from the Nigeria Customs Service Management which has boosted the morale of officers and had always kept them in high spirit”.
“Aggressive stakeholders’ engagement by the Customs Area Controller (CAC) including visits and parleys with all security/government agencies in Ogun State.
“At this period, its essential to recognize the effort of the Comptroller General of Customs in the implementation of policies and agenda of the federal Government and in motivating the Officers and Men of the command in monitoring industrial productions and collecting Excise Duties,” he said.
He assured that Ogun II Command of NCS under his watch would continue to “dialogue, engage and educate the stakeholders and the local business communities on our corporate goals: revenue generation and trade facilitation via excise and Free trade zone operations.
“We shall maintain success through consistent synergy with other sister agencies while discharging our statutory responsibilities of enforcing compliance with government fiscal policies.”
