Pangolin scales
Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) has seized about three hundred and thirty (330) kg in Adamawa State.
The Customs Area Comptroller, Kamardeen Ulumoh, told journalists in a press conference in Yola that the command achieved major anti-smuggling feats.
According to him, other seizures made by the command include foreign rice, thirty-three thousand, four hundred litres of petroleum products that was to be smuggled out of the country along Belel-Bokolo road in Maiha LGA of Adamawa State.

He said the duty paid value (DPV) for the items stands at N98.3 million which is at the detriment of the country’s economy.
Olumoh revealed that the command which covers Adamawa and Taraba States with a large number of illegal routes has ended the year 2019 on a cheerful note haven met and surpassed its revenue target.
He added that the command generated total revenue of N161.9 million, adding that it is an 8.9% (N13.2 million) increase against the N148.6 million target given the command.
He said the achievement was made possible through the various measures put in place to stimulate revenue generation.
