Comptroller Ejibunu noted these feet could not have been possible without the support of the Office of the National Security Adverser (ONSA) and other security agencies.

He added that the PMS products were intercepted in various locations in Adamawa state along side the nine means of convening the product.

He also commended the efforts of Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) for their cooperation in the fight against smuggling and economic saboteurs.

Comptroller Ejibunu stressed; “in line with the CGC’s mandate to curtail the smuggling and diversion of PMS products, Operation Whirlwind had repositioned all its operatives across the frontiers despite threats and harassment from economic saboteurs.
