It will be recalled that the state government imposed a 24-hour curfew in the State capital and its environs following the outbreak of violence in some parts of the State as a result of the death of a traditional ruler, Agom Adara, Maiwada Galadima who was abducted and subsequently killed by his abductors.
According to a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media and Publicity , Samuel Aruwan on Sunday, residents are free to pursue their legitimate activities from now till 5pm today, Sunday, 28th October 2018.
“From tomorrow, Monday, 29th October 2018, the curfew is relaxed from 6am to 5pm, daily, while residents of Kaduna metropolis, Kasuwan Magani, Kajuru, and Kateri now join the people of Kachia in having free movement during daytime hours.

“Banks and markets are expected to reopen and deliver services as usual. The Kaduna State Government has also requested the airlines and the Nigerian Railway Corporation to promptly resume normal services to Kaduna.
“Nighttime curfew hours will continue to be enforced from 5 pm to 6 am, until further notice. The Kaduna State Government urges residents to remain peaceful, law-abiding and vigilant.
