The Committee of the Prize of World Records URF and URB has conferred the First Global Humanitarian Excellence Award 2021 on Reverend Sister Wildanie Cupidon.
According to the organizer, the award was in recognition of Cupidon’s loyal humanitarian service, dedication with a great heart to spread love, peace, humanity and harmony in society and around the world.
The award was presented on September 1, 2021, on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of Saint Mother Teresa and the International Day of Charity.
According to the organiser, Cupidon is making history in her humanitarian works. This is a special prize awarded annually to one person across the world. This Prize is in recognition for Cupidon’s various humanitarian actions in the world.
Born on September 1, 1980, in Haiti, Sister Wildanie Cupidon has dedicated her life to the poor and the oppressed since she was recognized as a consecrated Virgin. Generous by nature, in 2009 she set up “The Wildanie Cupidon Foundation”, to help the homeless, the sick and orphans in Haiti and around the world.
She is also the founder of the Missionary Brothers and Sisters of Our Lady of Victory, where she works with devotion and love in hard-to-reach areas. She is the first woman to create the Chaplain Seciau Movement in 2018.
She established the Foundation Wildanie  Cupidon in 2009 to uplift the homeless, the sick, and the orphaned around the world. Today, she is a world-renowned social activist. She is also the founder of the missionary brothers and sisters of our Lady of Victory with a dedication to work in the abandoned area where people will not go.
“It is no surprise that all of her humanitarian works have earned her this “First Prize for Global Humanitarian Excellence 2021”.
Responding, Sister Wildanie Cupid said she is following in the footsteps of Mother Teresa, who for her is a model through her works. “Sister Teresa marked her time, me too, through my works I want to mark my generation,” she said.
She, however, dedicated the award to the people who continued to believe in her and support her in her actions. They include Mgr Gontrand Decoste Eveque of the Diocese of Jeremie; her spiritual mother, Sister Elisabeth Paul, the sisters of Saint Joseph de Cluny in Cayes-Jacmel who contributed to her studies; Father Bertholy Cherubin, Mr. Roland Joseph his consultant and Journalist Marcia Moļse, Venerable Jehova Toussaint, her family and all those who pray for her in secret.
