A final year student of Benue State University, Makurdi studying Sociology was on Monday night killed during a cult clash in the capital city of Benue.
According to a student who wants to remain anonymous said that some cult members engaged themselves in free for all at Gyado villa adding that a student identified as Terviiahima Simon Peter was cut in the crossfire.

Before the latest incident, two students were killed in the area two weeks ago, the area which is populated with students has been a haven for cult-related activities.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Catherine Anene said that a student of the State University was killed in a cult clash at Gyado villa in Makurdi around 1950 hours of Monday.
“Someone identified as Tervishima Simon Peter , a final year Sociology student of Benue State University died in the clash.
“His corpse has been deposited at BSUTH Mortuary and investigation is in progress please”, Anene said.
