Cryptocurrency: We’re bridging the knowledge gap —Adegunloye

Published by

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of House of Olympus Limited, a financial education platform that is changing the way young Nigerians view money and cryptocurrency, Victor Louis Adegunloye has said his company is bridging the knowledge gap around the ban of cryptocurrency transactions by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

According to him, people were being taken advantage of via the ban and announcing a pilot scheme for creating a new government-backed digital currency, which is why Olympus hosts weekly seminars to educate people on the opportunities, at the same time working on creating a tech hub to train Nigerians on financial technology and blockchain applications.

“We have trained more than 30,000 people with at least five per cent currently earning between $100 and $1000 a week.

“The Nigerian government, through the CBN, after banning cryptocurrency transactions through licensed banks in July, announced a pilot scheme for creating a new government-backed digital currency. This ban, I strongly believe, was because a lot of people were being taken advantage of as a result of the knowledge gap, which we as a company has bridged.

“We have 2000 active users on our platform holglobal.team, it’s all organic at the moment and we’ll be launching our dashboard within the next quarter.

“We also currently have users from over 60 nations across the globe, especially in African countries like Nigeria, Ghana, SA, Kenya and Uganda.

“We want people to be empowered by taking advantage of new emerging technologies.

“In all, the company plans for people to make money, also educating clients with knowledge and information to take advantage of opportunities in the blockchain technologies to make better financial decisions and build a better life for themselves and their families, ” he said.

Olympus as fondly called has financially educated and empowered thousands of people to make money and take advantage of investment opportunities, with a catalogue of several training videos on their financial training platform.
