Criminals lurking under long bridge before Berger

Published by

We thought the era of the black sheep under the long bridge on Lagos-Ibadan expressway was over. But the recent event on that area has shown that those criminals are very much around, perpetrating their evil acts as it suits their whims and caprices.

A journalist returning to his family after day work in his office found himself in the hands of those heartless fellows. His car developed a mechanical fault. While he was trying to see what had happened, those people invaded the spot and attacked him with different objects.

They disposed him of his valuables after which they escaped. Only God saved the poor journalists from an untimely death. Even at that, his health is affected.

Controversies trail life and death of Rep Temitope Sugar killed in Ibadan

The government should know how important that route is to travellers from different parts of the country.

Government should station permanently law enforcement agents on that bridge to ward off those criminals. Government should not wait till serving public oficials are attacked before our cry is heard.
