Amos who is the chief of staff to Adamawa state governor, Ahamdu Finitri stated this Saturday, shortly after his investiture as the Jabagan of Younger in Dumne, Adamawa state.

He said, “the creation of more chiefdoms will accommodate a more traditional setup in the state that will foster growth, encourage participation, and enhance peace, security, and neighbourhood watch on the rapidly expanding communities in the state.”

Noting that the Dumne community has all it takes to be a chiefdom and appealed to the government to consider it when such an opportunity is unveiled.

Stressing the importance of traditional institutions to nation-building, “the role of traditional rulers in nation-building cannot be overemphasized” and therefore, called on government at all levels to work closely with traditional institutions for a better state and county at large.
