Delta State has recorded the fourth COVID-19 death. The death is one of the five new cases of the coronavirus confirmed in Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday night.
The patient died late Wednesday night after his sample tested positive to the scourge.
The death has reduced the 12 active cases to 11, while there are now four deaths, six discharged and 22 cases in all.
The State Government, through the Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, confirmed the death of the patient on Thursday.
