Court reserves judgement on Matawalle’s suit against EFCC, ICPC, others to Aug 30

Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court Abuja has fixed August 30, 2023, to deliver judgement on the suit by a former Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, seeking to stop an investigation against him.

In June 2023, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declared the immediate past governor of Zamfara, Bello Matawalle, wanted over alleged corruption while in office.

Bello Matawalle recently made the list of confirmed 45 ministerial nominees which the senate transmitted to the President
