Urowanyina, who resides at Ogba, Lagos, is being tried for defilement.
The Prosecution Counsel, ASP Ezekiel Ayorinde, alleged that the suspect committed the offence on Aug. 30 at his residence,
He alleged that the suspect lured the girl into his room and defiled her.
The prosecutor said that her mother reported the case to the police, leading to the arrest of the defendant.
The offence, he added, contravened the provisions of Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 which prescribes life imprisonment for defilement.
