Olusola, who pleaded guilty, is being tried on a count charge bothering on assault.
The Magistrate, Mrs Modupe Awodele, ordered the accused to be remanded in prison and described the alleged offence as “heinous”.
Awodele however, adjourned the case to Aug. 4, when the prosecutor was expected to tender evidence before sentencing the accused.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp Jafani Musilimi, had told the court that the accused committed the offence on July 2, at about 2:15p.m, at Agowande area of Osogbo in Osun.
Musilim alleged that the accused assaulted one Alaba Fadunsi with his fist to her face and caused her deep injury.
The prosecutor said the offence contravened Section 355 of the criminal code cap 34 vol. 11 laws of Osun, 2003.
