Court grants bail to suspected killer of OYTRMA staff in Oyo

The Ibadan Chief Magistrate Court has granted bail in the sum of N2.5 million to the suspected killer of the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA) officer, Fabunmi Kehinde.

The suspect was arraigned in court on a three-count charge of dangerous driving on Thursday.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges read by the prosecution counsel.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs. Ogunkanmi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N2.5 million with two sureties in like sum.

One of the sureties must own landed property within the magisterial district, while the other must be a blood relative.

The case was adjourned to March 27, 2025.
