COURT
Justice R. A. Siyanbola of an Ile-Ife High Court, on Wednesday, dissolved a 12-year-old marriage between Yetunde Olaomo and Nathaniel Olaomo for desertion and disappointment.
Siyanbola held that the court put an end to the union between Yetunde and Nathaniel because there was no more love between them and that the husband did not surface since Dec. 12, 2017, till date.
In her petition to the court, Yetunde, a resident of No 1, Bolorunduro Street, Iyana-Ajia, Ibadan, Oyo State, told the court that they got married on July 10, 2007, at Odeda Local Government Registry, Ogun State.
The petitioner tendered her marriage certificate as proof of her case.

She said that her husband packed out of the house on Dec 2, 2017, without any notice or query.
According to her, all efforts to bring him back home proved abortive, adding that she heard that her husband went to hide at an undisclosed place without any reason for it.
The petitioner, therefore, prayed the court to dissolve the marriage, saying that the said marriage had broken down irretrievably,
The respondent was, however, not in court to defend the allegations brought against him.
The defence counsel to the petitioner, Mr Akin Akanbi, admitted the allegation to be true.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the marriage was not blessed with any issue.
