Director General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) and president of the world craft Council (WCC), Chief Olusegun Runsewe, who gave this hint in Abuja, said that Nigerian arts and crafts were among the best in the world.
He spoke when he received a four-man delegation from Burkina-Faso Embassy in Nigeria to solicit for Nigeria’s partnership in making her country’s 2018 International Arts and Handicrafts Trade Show successful, especially in terms of packaging, promotion and participation.
The delegation led by Diallo Hassane noted that Nigeria is a nation blessed with numerous arts and crafts, adding that her participation in this year’s trade show would create a platform for sound networking between other African nations such as Ghana, Senegal, Zambia and Tanzania.
He acknowledged that Nigeria had some very nice and wonderful products to showcase to the world while participating in the trade fair.
Hassane, said: “A business forum is normally organised where countries like Japan, America and many advanced countries from Europe including other parts of the world interact with each other during the trade fair which often serves as an avenue to showcase African strength.”
The DG NCAC pledged to grace the occasion in his capacity as the current president of the world crafts council assuring them that Burkina-Faso would witness huge transformation this year in terms of participation.
