Coronation: Emir of Zazzau to be given staff of office on Monday

The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, will be presented with the staff of office during the coronation scheduled on Monday.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Central Working Committee for the installation of the 19th Emir of Zazzau and signed by the Commissioner for Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alh Jaafaru Sani on Sunday.
The statement said all arrangements have been concluded for a momentous and hitch-free event.
To this end, the statement is calling on the people of Kaduna State and Nigerians, in general, to come out en masse to support and witness the historic installation of His Highness Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli as the 19th Emir of Zazzau.
According to the statement, the presentation of staff of office will be performed by the governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa’i tomorrow Monday, November 9, 2020, at the Muhammadu Aminu Square, Race Course GRA Zaria by 10 O’clock in the morning.
“The installation ceremony will be followed immediately by a horse procession by His Highness Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, council members, district heads and titleholders from the racecourse to the Emir’s Palace in Zaria City.

“The statement urged people to pray for peace, unity and prosperity of Zazzau Emirate and to come out and line up the road from Tudun Wada to Kofar Doka and pay homage to the new Emir and his entourage.”
