Continent Hotels & Resorts Worldwide names Babalola Senior Vice President/ CEO for Africa

CONTINENT Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has appointed Dr Wasiu Babaola as its Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for Africa.

Dr Babalola, a renowned figure in the hospitality industry with over 20 years of experience is to oversee operations, brand strategy and the expansion of Continent Worldwide Hotels across Africa.

Continent Worldwide Hotels is one of the fastest growing European brands in Asia and Europe with a portfolio of over 20 hotels.

Before Dr Babalola joins Continent Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, he was the Managing Director for West Africa of Switzerland based Swiss International Hotels, where he was instrumental for the company’s entry and successes in West Africa. He currently serves as the Honorary Secretary of the Institute of Hospitality, UK (Nigeria International Branch) and is a founding board member and Director for the West Africa Tourism & Hospitality Awards (WATHA) among others.
