Construction of Olodo Bridge: Oluwo commends govs Makinde, Adeleke, Oyetola

Oluwo Of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has given kudos to the Governors of Oyo, Osun and the serving Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Engr. Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Senator Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke(Osun) and Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola respectively for their commitment to rehabilitating Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan road.

The monarch made the commendation on his assessment tour to the site of Olodo Bridge construction where vigorous works are ongoing on the project.

On Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, Oba Akanbi said, he extended the commendation to Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, for initiating the road construction with his Oyo State counterpart.

On the quality of the job done at Olodo Bridge by the contractor, Peculiar Ultimate Concern Limited, the royal father described the construction company job as pacesetting.

He said,” I am satisfied with the quality and speed of ongoing construction at Olodo Bridge. The road is acute to promote economic interaction between Osun and Oyo State. It will hugely benefit the ancient city of Iwo”

“My regular visit to the site is to encourage the contractor. The bridge, if completed will aid commercial activities in Iwo and decimate hardship faced by traders of the two states”

“The contractor, Engr. Lanre Adeleke, Managing Director of Peculiar Ultimate Concern Limited, is executing an excellent project. The firm is known for quality construction”, he stressed.

In his speech, the Managing Director of the construction firm, Engr. Abel Lanre Adeleke, assured commuters and road users that one of the two bridges will be opened in April 2024.
