It is indeed true that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. That explains why young ladies and men are fond of wearing tattoos to make fashion statements.
Tattoos are permanent pictures drawn on various parts of the body. For some of the tattoo lovers, it is esoteric and may portray them as belonging to certain members of a group or identifying with or sympathetic to the cause of a sect.
Quite true also is the fact that as appealing as tattoos are, the health implications could be detrimental in some cases. Infected needles and dye may cause contraction of Human Immuno Virus (HIV) or hepatitis infection. Mercury product is toxic which may lead to kidney damage. Skin cancer may be the aftermath of tattooing.
The craze among youths to be identified with certain tattoos can be in itself a labeling which they may later regret. But be that as it may, we must do all within our consciousness to discourage this in its entirety.
My advice is that tattooing is a dangerous fashion and should be shunned for good health. Enough is enough!
