Company promotes feminine hygiene with ‘healthy beginning, happy future’ campaign at Queen’s College

In a moment of joy and enlightenment at the Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos, Goonite Hygiene Company, the manufacturer of Besense sanitary pads brought awareness through its ‘Healthy Beginnings, Happy Future Campaign’.

The campaign had in beneficiaries over 3500 people, including teachers, with the distribution of the company’s products, with Besense’ brand ambassador, Destiny Etiko, in attendance.

The company’s choice of Destiny Etiko as ambassador is in line with her commitment to perfection and appreciation for quality, which aligns with Goonite’s vision.

John Jiang, Managing Director of Goonite Hygiene, who addressed the students at the College’s Assembly Ground, emphasised that the campaign aims to promote and nurture feminine hygiene. “The overarching message was that healthy beginnings lead to a happy future,” he added.

According to him, “Today, we are here doing some charitable donations to the schools because of the demand for the health of hygiene; secondary school students desperately need products of high quality and good initiative like this. Let’s embrace the future together with the production of Besense sanitary pads —goonitehygiene.”

John Jiang urged the students to view Besense as their “personal superhero”, ensuring comfort whenever needed. He highlighted Besense’ promise of reliability beyond the ordinary sanitary pad and emphasized the company’s collaboration with individuals and NGOs sharing similar visions.

Expressing optimism about consumers’ response since its launch, Jiang highlighted the different options Besense offers, including day and night use, and panty liners. He emphasized the company’s commitment to quality control and the use of the best raw materials globally.

Jolaoluwa Ademola, Country Manager, Goonite Hygiene, described Goonite as a consumer-centric company leveraging cutting-edge technology to create value for consumers at affordable prices. He spoke on the company’s dedication to providing products that meet the economic needs of consumers.

The brand ambassador, Destiny Etiko, reiterated that Besense and Lebrace are premium quality products positioned to disrupt the sanitary segment of Nigeria’s market.

She highlighted the uniqueness of the products, including high absorption levels, natural mint for freshness, affordability, and accessibility in various sizes.
The campaign’s theme, “Healthy Beginnings, Happy Futures,” reflects the journey toward wellness and prosperity.

Etiko emphasized the importance of taking care of oneself during challenging moments for a positive future.

Students and the school management expressed gratitude to Goonite Hygiene, commending the company for its distinct quality and commitment to the well-being of the girl-child.
