Commissioner for education, Tribune man, others bag awards as BBF celebrates 5th anniversary

The Oyo state commissioner for education, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela, Tribune man, Olawoyin Edris Busayo and some other personalities have been awarded for their tremendous contribution to community development and service to humanity at the 5th years anniversary of the best brain foundation that recently took place at the Ibarapa east local government secretariat, Eruwa, Oyo state.

While commenting on the idea behind the establishment of the organization, the chief learning officer and founder, Comrade Ojewola Olawale said the rate at which teenagers, that are supposed to be in school are getting pregnant is worrisome.

“This is depriving them of achieving greatness in life.

“That is why we have taken it as a responsibility to wage war against teenage pregnancy and early marriage, as we urge eminent Nigerians to support us in achieving this aim” he said.

In his remarks, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela commended the vision and efforts of Comrade Ojewola, while advising parents and guardians to always give the best to their wards.

“Oyo state government has put enabling policies in place to make students achieve the best in terms of education

“we have awarded schools’ renovation contracts and I can assure you that work will soon commence” he said.

Tribune man, who was awarded as the Most influential media personality of the year expresses his gratitude to the Almighty God and the organisers of the event for deeming it fit to bestow him with the award.

” I see this as an inspiration to remain diligent and do more in the media world I’ve found myself” He said.

Also present at the event were some dignitaries from Oyo state ministry of education and as well movers and shakers of ibarapaland.
