Popular Nigerian comedian and actor-turned-preacher, Oluwatoyin Bayegun, known as Woli Arole, has announced the death of his father.
In a heartfelt post shared late Sunday evening on his official Facebook page, Arole expressed his grief and paid tribute to his late father.
Accompanying a touching photo of himself with his father, he wrote, “It has pleased the LORD to receive my FATHER in GLORY.”
He continued, “It’s in total submission to the will of God to announce the demise of my Father, my HERO and my ROLE MODEL.”
Arole reflected on the time spent with his father, adding, “I am happy I spent your last moments with you in JOY, PRAYERS and FUN. Rest well Baba Jimmy.”
The comedian expressed deep sorrow while celebrating his father’s legacy: “Happy you left a LEGACY and that LEGACY is ME!!!!!! I would miss you so MUCH!!!!!”
