The vice-president of The Apostolic Church of Nigeria, Pastor Emmanuel  Awojide has urged Christians to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) in order to vote the right leadership into power come 2019 elections.

Pastor Awojide, who spoke at the Centenary Celebration of the Church recently held in Lagos, said that Christians for the to be politically active come 2019 election in order to have a say in the leadership position of the country.

As Christians, we should not rest on our oars until the country is in a better state, and it can only be through effective prayers and active participation in politics.

“Don’t be wooed by deception; vote your conscience. We shouldn’t run away from active participation in politics except we want to leave the administration of the country to the hands of the ungodly politicians who only seek their pockets,” he said.

Preaching on the theme-The Prophesies and The Purpose Of Christ’s Second Coming, The President, The Apostolic Church, Cameroon, Pastor John Enoch charged Christians not to sleep spiritually and to be alive to the second coming of Jesus Christ.
