On the collapse of family values

Published by

The story of the notorious kidnapper popularly known as Evans illustrates the collapse of family values in the country.

Parents  should begin to play major roles in their children’s upbringing, for instance by curbing questionable associations by the children.

Children should be made to stop keeping bad company and being covetous.

Why should Evans or anyone else get involved in criminal acts to earn a living? Honest opportunities still abound and money is not everything.

Good health, a good home, a good marriage, good children, peace of mind and wisdom cannot be bought with money.

By now, Evans should know that his game is up. Nigerians are waiting for the courts to do justice in the case. This case should serve to teach a moral lesson, namely that evil deeds attract retribution.
