Wednesday Social Club of Nigeria has celebrated its president, Chief Akanni Oyewole, on his appointment as the Chairman, South-West zone of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN).
The event which witnessed the attendance of friends and family of Oyewole, was held on Friday at the club’s secretariat in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
Nigerian Tribune reports that Oyewole emerged as IPMAN’s Southwest zone chairman after an election held on the 21st of January at Kakanfo Inn, Ibadan.
Speaking, The Vice President of the club, Commander Ademola Ajibike, described Iyewole’s appointment as a “well-deserved” one.

He said his appointments reflect his great wealth of experience, exceptional educational qualifications, and immense contributions to Nigeria.”

“While I urge the younger generation to take things easy with themselves in a bid to attain such position in their life too “.
In a brief interview with journalists, Akanni Oyewole pledged to continue to serve the masses in his own capacity by ensuring the availability of petroleum at a cheaper price to the masses.
