Cleric urges leaders to emulate Justice Akanbi

AN Abuja-based cleric, Ustaz Abdulwahab Sharani, has urged Nigerian leaders to emulate the moral and honourable behaviours of a former President of the Court of Appeal, the late Justice Mustapha Akanbi.

Ustaz Sharani made the plea in Kaduna, Kaduna State, at the eighth day fidau for JusticeAkanbi, who was the pioneer chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

“The late Justice Mustapha Akanbi was an honest, incorruptible man who treated everybody equally. Nigerian leaders should emulate and take a cue from him by being honourable as way of regaining our lost glory as a people and as a country,” the cleric said.
