He stated this at the 16th valedictory service for the class of Divine Faithfulness of the Christ the Redeemer’s College, Christhill, Konigbagbe-Sagamu, Ogun State, last Sunday, while delivering his speech as the guest of honour.
Adeyewa, who was represented by Pastor Oluseyi Alakija, in his address entitled: Get Ready to Fly! stated that one had been divinely positioned to get the best of spiritual, academic and moral support and training through the parents and teachers in school.
Advising the graduating students to be steadfast and prepared to run to their divine destinies, he said: “Most of you have enjoyed better privileges more than your parents, who have tried to give you the best so that you can fly. By the rigorous training that you have gone through in the college, you have been prepared to fly. The preparations you have received are beyond crawling, walking or even running. It is unacceptable for you to make average progress. You have been primed, prepare to fly.”
Earlier, the college’s principal, Pastor Antoinette Omo-Osagie, congratulated the class of Divine Faithfulness, noting that they had a special legacy of excellence to uphold.
In his address, the chairman, Board of Governors of the college, Pastor Bayo Adeyemo, congratulated the students, and urged them to realise that the certificates they were leaving with, indicated that they had been equipped with the capacity to learn and emerge winners in all life situations.
