THREE persons; a clergyman, his personal assistant and his driver were on Wednesday reportedly brutally murdered over land in Ikosi Ejirin area of Lagos State .
The clergyman, Deacon Tayo Hassan, his personal assistant Waidi Dada and the driver Omobolanle Rashidi were killed by suspected land speculator at Oriwu Igbodu town, Ikosi Ejirin.
The image maker in charge of the state police command, Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident to Tribune Online and added that the case was reported at Agbowa divisional police station.
The police spokesperson also stated that policemen from Agbowa division had visited the scene of the murder, where expended cartridges and knives were recovered.
The police in Lagos also claimed that they have a clue that would help in unravelling the killers of the clergyman, his PA and driver.
She also stated that the police in the state are on the trail of the assailants and that the bodies of the slain people had been deposited at Agbowa General Hospital.
