As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, renowned clothier and boss of BKK Ultimo, Beshy Kuti, is diligently preparing for his annual tradition of feeding the underprivileged.
This initiative, which he has upheld for several years, reflects his deep commitment to community service and the Islamic principle of charity.
During Ramadan, acts of generosity, such as feeding the needy, are highly encouraged in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad emphasised this and it has become the clothier’s habit as he abides by the “Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward” teaching.
Kuti’s efforts not only provide sustenance to those in need, but also foster a sense of unity and compassion within his community in Ibadan. By organising daily iftar meals, he ensures that many can break their fasts with dignity and joy.
