CIPM inaugurates new excos in Kebbi

The Charter Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) has formally inaugurates the Kebbi State Chapter of the Institute with a call to members on the need to have an indelible ink across Nigeria.

In his message during the inauguration ceremony, the Na’amo Abdullahi Conference hall of the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin-Kebbi, the President and Chairman of the Governing Council, Mr. Olusegun Mojeed stated that expanding membership is the core priority of the institute, adding that where we are today is not a day job.

Mr Mojeed also charged the new Kebbi branch members to facilitate the establishment of more branches beyond the State capital, pointing out that more local branches be established in major towns of the State like Argungu, Zuru and Yauri, possibly established the Sokoto State branch being the seat of caliphate.

Speaking to news men shortly after inauguration, the Chairman of the State branch, Alhaji Alhassan Yusuf said the task before them is to stimulate the professional in the minds of young ones and those who would work as professionals in person and human resource department of the economy in the State.

Alhaji Yusuf said the Institute under his watch would be to professionalised the Institute to offer training programmes to attain leadership position and to offer consultancy services to the government, the public and private sectors.

“My emergence as the Chairman is not as if I am better than anyone if us, therefore I used all members and Excos to join hands with me, the way I achieved this feet is the way we shall achieve our set objectives.” He said.

The six member Executives inaugurated includes, Alhaji Alhassan Yusuf, Chairman, Dr. Haruna Galadima, Vice Chairman and Shehu Garba Ambursa, Secretary.

Others are Bello Ibrahim Jabbo, Assistant Secretary/Pro, Fatima Sa’idu Maishanu, Treasurer and Mannir Mohammed Jega, Financial Secretary.
